All-plastic stencils ideal for wool bale use, but also for general purposes. Digits 75mm high. 0-9 disc is 37cm diameter. The A-Z discs are 45cm diameter.
Oneshot is the ideal system for applying ink to stencils, particularly for marking wool bales. It consists of a special sealed ink cartridge which is pierced when it is attached to either a roller or brush head assembly. The ink flow to the roller or brush is then controlled by way of the thumb operated valve/pump on the head assembly. The cartridge becomes a convenient handle, and ink is applied with no mess. One-shot ink is suitable for all porous surfaces, such as wool packs and other fabrics. The roller and brush heads come with a cover to prevent drying out between uses. Clean up with turpentine.
The Stencil Mate grower pack includes the Stencilmate brush head and three quick-fit disposable ink cartridges. This system enables a quick always-at-the-ready ink applicator for wool bale stencilling. Brush is 40mm diameter. The roller and tin offer an alternative inking solution.

The Sheepmat is manufactured in the same tradition as the famous Hoofmat for cows. It uses 31mm foam in a quality fabric outer. This should suit most existing race systems but the mat must be placed on concrete, wood, or other impervious surface. For successful treatment use in a situation where the animals will not be walking in dirty conditions, or for long distances, immediately after crossing the mat. Management systems may have to be developed to enable lame or at-risk animals to be treated to cross the mat at least once per day. Sheepmat can be used with about 10 litres of 2% copper sulphate solution, or other remedy as may be recommended by your veterinarian. Size of the sheepmat is 1.5m long x 0.46m wide.

The EXCAL lamb feeder is well known in New Zealand and Australia. The bottle is lightweight 1-litre capacity. Air inlet is via the small valve mounted in the handle cavity. It can be covered with thumb or finger to slow-up drinking rate, if desired. Replacement teat 4-pack only.
The EXCAL Topper is the most versatile lamb and kid feeding device available. Using the proven EXCAL lamb teat in our new ‘Topper’ cap. This nice solid cap incorporates a ball valve to allow inlet of air. The Topper will fit all standard 28mm o.d. thread plastic ‘coke’ and pop bottles. The EXCAL Topper is a long-lasting teat, that will rear quite a few lambs without breaking up. And lambs love it. If you wish to speed up the flow for stronger lambs, just extend the tip x-cuts slightly.

Our 10-place lamb and kid feeding rail bucket is a big strong bucket with a 20 litre capacity. The teats are our own EXCAL ‘Little Softy’, giving easy milk flow but without leaking, even when bucket is full. Rail hooks will suit any rail up to 40mm (1½”) thick.
NB: This feeder is supplied standard with our very soft EXCAL ‘Little Softy’ (white) teats, suitable for new-born lambs. For feeding older lambs or kids the teats should be changed to more durable EXCAL ‘Regular’ (black) lamb teats.
Our ‘Little Softy’ lamb/kid teat has been designed especially for use in our gravity lamb feeders. The Little Softy features the same inverted-tip design as our famous “Big Softy’ calf teat, thatis, fast-flow for hungry animals, and a non-leak quality. The Little Softy teat will fit straight into any feeders using standard 2mm pull-through calf teats. This enables any of these type calf feeders to be easily converted to lamb or kid feeding. Or if you wish to create your own feeder, drill 22mm holes in any suitable container.
NB: The ‘Little Softy’ is a very soft ‘starter’ teat. It may not stand up to heavy use by older lambs and kids. Teats should be changed to the ‘Regular’ lamb/kid teat at that stage.
Bearing retainers of this type, for use in cases of vaginal or uterine prolapse in ewes, have been around for many years. Usually they feature tie strings or tape for securing the retainer to the wool of the ewe. This can be a tedious process. We have developed the 'Protainer'. This tool features locking clips at each end which are clipped onto the wool. Protainer is applied in seconds, is 100% secure, and is easily removed. Pack of 4 pieces. Registered Design NZ 416420.

New technologies still haven’t replaced the tried and proven ram harness system. Clear marks on all mated ewes. Clear identity of non-cycling or non-mated stock, and to later identify non-pregnant ewes. The MatingMark harness is easily fitted and adjusted with ‘snap-lock’ buckles. The crayons ‘click-in’. Crayons can be changed whilst the ram is standing. (See separate entry for MatingMark crayons.) This is a very well-proven system. Replacement buckles set available will fit either harness.
